Axle/Gears: 3.07, 373, 4.10
Timing chain play...
How much play is acceptable in a timing chain? I can wiggle mine almost a half inch between the timing gears.. is this excessive?

Thats what I figured.. already ordered a new double roller from summit.. thanks for the reply

extended horzontily there should be around .125" deflection anything more is a sign it needs replaced. however no more than it cost if i were in a position to look at the timing set i'd replace it.
