Manley or Eagle H beams ?

Well just wondering which is the better out of the two Makeing all things equal ...like the same 190'000 AFR studs ... the eagle looks to be cheaper by about 50 bucks or so .... Is this for a reason >?
----------
also the Eagle has more advertised processes to them like degaussing for less impraties , etc.

Not sure which is better but the Eagles I have look like a really nice part. Got them for a great price at cnc-motorsports.com

for a street engine the eagles are more than enough, in a race engine id never even consider them.

I have not used the eagle or any of the other knock off brands in a while....

But the ones I did use, I had to do some prep to them. Pin clearance different from one to another, Big end sizing, Caps a little off on alignment, weight differences from one rod to another..etc

Since I have not used them in a while I cant remark on there quality now???

But for what it sounds like the poster is going to be doing??? It doesn’t really matter. Just make sure who ever is doing your machine work checks them out

I pan on useing them in a T62 turbocharged L-98 . At first I am only putting 6ish psi to it ... then after about 15 .... for around 650 hp. I remeber hearing abotu that Eagle import ... It kinda turned me off of them . SO you figure it will be an either or thing eh ? If there is any question that one will be better suited over the other ( ie , weight ... material needing to be removed on one , but not the other ) I would like to know. The differeance is negledgable.

for that hp level i woundt use either the eagle or the manley, the manleys are only rated to 700 as it is.

From what I researched 650hp on the eagle rods should be fine, maybe order them with the ARP L-19 bolt upgrade if your really worried about strength.

thanx a bunch guys . Yeah I think the manley rateing is lowers due to the lesser bolts ( 190'000) vs the higher ones as an optioned offered with the other brand
