My 350 rebuild, need some input please

Hi everyone. Great forum!
I´m a fairly new member and has learned alot by reading various posts, now it´s time to see if I can get some help

I´m rebuilding my -88 Camaro 350 engine with following parts:
K&N filters
Ported plenum
Large tube runners
Ported base
Adjustable fuel pressure regulator
Injectors size 26
Brodix IK180 heads, 64 cc (not ordered yet, might change)
Flat top pistons
roller rockers
Comp Cams XFI268
Hooker 2055 headers, no cat, single 3" exhaust
Maybe a Holley 58 mm TB (got one on the shelf)

plus all other stuff like ignition parts, bearings, oiling, rebuilt tranny, high stall converter etc.
Stock deck height and bore.

First of all, what do you think of this combo?

Second, I´m afraid my CR is a little bit low. With a FelPro 1010 0.039 gasket it will be around 9.6:1 The biggest concern is the dynamic CR wich will be around 6.8

The simplest way to get this better right now is to use a thinner head gasket like the GMPP 10105117 which has a compressed thickness of 0.028. This will get me to around 10:1 and 7.1 in dynamic CR. Not much but easy.
Is this a good way? Is this GMPP composite gasket a good one?

Any other suggestions/inputs are highly appreciated.

Thanks!
