Head problems

the drivers side of my engines spark plugs have a hole bunch of oil and ash deposits on it and ive had no engine power since ive had the car does anyone no what this is..

Leaking valve cover gasket on that side.

there new and its on the inside not the outside i was thinking its the valve seals cuz it dont smoke

Believe it or not but the oil from a leaky valve cover gasket can migrate down onto the spark plugs and get past the threads into the motor. I'd also look at the intake manifold gasket.

Hey F-Bird, i just want to confirm my thought with you.

My car drivers side center 2 plugs (#3 and #5) both get covered in oil after about 700-1000 miles eventually causing a misfire on those 2, while all the other plugs are fine. My valve cover gaskets do not leak at all, infact the engine is very very clean on the outside.

I do see a SLIGHT amount of oil where the intake touches the head. Chances are the gasket in this area is bad and is causing the problem, is this correct? Im putting on my HSR soon, so i guess i will find out soon enough.

HSR is Holley Stealth Ram, its an Aftermarket Intake manifold.
