540hp TPI?

Do those specs sound like 540hp? I didn't think the TPI setup could make that kind of power... regardless of mods!

he'd be lucky to get over 400hp on that motor at the crank....it needs 150shot atleast to touch 500 hp.
and the cam 2000-6000 rpm range is too much cam for that TPI 383. i never heard of those heads either, but i'm sure they dont flow as well as or better than trickflow/dart pro/AFR's.
i dont even think he has aftermarket runners either

I think they are dreaming a bit...
It probably makes 540ft/lb of torque, that i wouldnt doubt. but for a basically bone stock TPI setup(edel base), it probably couldnt flow enough to make 540hp.
Ill bet the polishing on the outside of the runners added 100hp at least

I agree with the above posts. He would need a big shot of nitrous to do it. The Edlebrock manifold and runners will not support that kind of power level plain and simple. I would love to see the dyno graph as he seems to "know" the power level.

another thing to think about
30lb/hr injectors supporting over 500hp? what maybe very lean or at very high duty cycles.
notice also how there is no contact seller. or at least not one that I have noticed.

Good point about the injectors.
SDPC has a zz383 tpi setup (super-ram) rated at 405. With an agressive cam and a set of AFR eliminator heads (replacing the fast burn heads), compression up to 10.5:1 you might get 500, maybe.
Actually thinking about ordering that next year for the GTA, really need to hit that 550 mark though.
Looks like SDPC has a LS 90mm intake/tb/fuel setup for the L92 type heads, hmmmm...

How do you say....bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah! It might have some nice pieces in that buggy, but I have no respect for people that just outright lie! Show me a dyno sheet cause there isn't a snowballs chance in HELL that TPI set-up will support those horsepower #'s.
AND all of that power through stock runners and a MAF!

AS I LOOK OVER THE AD, HE'S RUNNING 10:1 COMPRESSION AND 200-CC HEADS WHICH GIVES LOTS OF ROOM TO BREATH. WHEN YOU MENTIONED TPI-SETUP IT GIVES THE IDEA HE TOOK A 5.0 ENGINE OUT A IROC AND PUT IT ON THE BACK OF A MUD-BUGGY. NOT THE CASE HERE.
I'M ALWAYS AMAZED AT WHAT PEOPLE WILL DO WITH MONEY AS IS THE CASE HERE ON A SWAMP-BUGGY.
