I think the turbo would be quite difficult, especially on a carbed setup. You're pretty much in new territory there, and there's a reason. (ie, no one does that because it doesn't work well).
There are some nice little things you can do to your V6 to get a bit more snap out of it, cruise over to the V6 board and ask about that. I'm thinking of the common basic stuff, remove the catalytic convertor, K&N air filter, cold air intake, etc.
If you like going fast, it's just a matter of time before you want to swap in a different motor, accept that fact and prepare for the time
