I have purchased the 1094 rubberized head gasket for my engine my question is will the rubberized version gasket be okay for IRON heads, I have seen where everyone uses these for their aluminum heads. I do know about the surface finish on the block/heads and everything dimensionally is fine I am just curious about the compatibilty of the gasket with the IRON heads.

Worked fine for me with the heads in the sig on the 305 from 2001 until 2005 when I put in the 350 shortblock.

Used Victor Rienz (sp?) the last time because they were easier to come by (to say nothing of less expensive).
