ENGINE MISFIRE
I've got an 89 rs w tb 305. The engine has developed a miss at all rpm's. I had previously done a tune-up on it. The usual stuff replaced. I thought maybe it was the distributor since the car has 231,xxx on it. I liked to never got the distributor out. Got the new one in, fired it up to set the timing. As I was setting the timing it started doing the same thing. Hmmm. Not the dist. I went ahead and set the timing, but I noticed something strange. Every time the engine was cutting out both injectors in the tb were shutting off for a split second. So my question is this. WHAT COULD CAUSE THE INJECTORS TO SHUT OFF LIKE THIS? Anybody got any suggestions? Please and thank you.

cap, rotor, plugs, plug wires, fuel filter, o2 sensor, and lastly was the dist since I thought this was ignition related.

Axle/Gears: 3.08 stock -RS
anybody respond? i have the same problem. i have 202xxx miles. brand new crate motor

Anyone got any suggestions short of replacing things just to eliminate something that might be the culprit.
