help heater box removal.

help heater box removal.

hey all i went to a pick a part place today and found one camaro w/ a ac delete box i got all the top screws off and cant for the life of me figure out how to get the 2 screws from the bottom they looks lke they are from inside the car? If you are standing infron of the car one looks to be at appx. 4 oclock and the other 8 o'clock, how do i remove them. do i need to remove the dash if so im jst gunna forget ir and nor run heat in the car.. any help is great

at the most you may need to pull down the lower cover on the dash, but just pull the carpet back and you'll see them.....

DO i need the heater controls to make this work properly? Its not big deal if i do ill just take that out also.. this car also had a speaker delete panel on the sail panel but some1 put speakers in ...there anything else i should snag outa there while im in there.

OK i got the heater control from the junked car are the rods in the back the same as mine? and what about the wiring i cut the junked cars harness so i can splice mine. or can i just use my heater control and re work the wiring a little bit

The vent arrangement in a non-A/C car is quite different from an A/C car. if you wanted to do a complete swap you'd end up replacing the entire dash. It's probably easiest just to leave your A/C controls in place.

alright ill just wire up the controls from my unit to the new box. does anyone know what wires go to what as far as controler to motor?
