L98 113 heads

On an l98 113 head, are the rocker studs pressed in or are they screwed in, and if screwed in, are they 3/8 or 7/16? also, can the corvette magnesium valve covers be polished up to shine like aluminum and hold their shine? thanks

Car: Yes
Engine: Usually
Transmission: Sometimes
Axle/Gears: Behind me somewhere
Screw-in

The heads are 7/16"

Probably, if you clear-coat them; if left bare they'll corrode just like aluminum does

The bottoms of the studs where they screw into the head are 7/16" but the tops where the rockers slide on are 3/8", if my rapidly aging memory is correct. i.e. you need rockers designed or 3/8" studs.
