need to know something about rislone

ok, for the last two months ive been running rislone in my 3.1 with mobile 1. i did as the bottle says, use the whole quart and leave out one quart of oil. i went out the other day to check my coolant level since the heater wasnt working like it usually did. found out i was low, so i added coolant. so for the heck of it, i check the oil to find out i actually needed to add some. so taking the oil fill cap off, i find a milky white/ brownish liquid on the bottom of the oil fill cap. so now im wondering, did i blow a head gasket and cause coolant to dump in somewhere. i havent noticed any white exhaust coming outta the tailpipe except for startup, but never on acceleration or deceleration. nore do i notice any black smoke.

i asked around and heard two different answers. one is that i DID cause a leak in the head gasket. the other is that its condesation thats been sitting in the oil pan and could be caused by short trips seeing as the weathers been bad out here. i ran the car for an hour on highways and sidestreets yesterday to see if that might solve anything, hoping it was a condensation problem, but to no avail.

if anyone has heard of rislone doing anything to a car like this, id be glad to know. or if someone happens to know what might be the cause of this.

btw, the car only has 50,000 miles and ive changed the oil and filter every three months religiously.

thanks in advance
mike

Doesn't sound like you need to worry since you didn't see anything on your dipstick. I'm in Illinois as well and all 4 of my cars get that milky substance on the bottom of the oil cap in the winter.
