Hard to start (hot) after new injectors installed

Anyone ever heard of this?

Recently Replaced my injectors with some 19 lb. Accel units and now the car is hard to start warm (and hot). Gotta crank it about 4-5 seconds before it lights up...

Did full tune-up, didn't help. Replace 02 sensor, no help.

Car had no problems starting while hot with the stock injectors even though two of them mearured out-of-spec....

Fires right up when cold

Car is a bone stock '89 TPI LB9 Dual-cat 5 speed Firebird Formula (no cold-start injector) that I bought brand-new.

Thanks, Rayvan

maybe they are a bit leaky, that would explain the good startup in cold and poor warm/hot starts...

Thanks for the reply.

Thats what I thought at first, but the system seems to hold pressure. If I press the schraeder valve, even after a week of non-use, there is still good pressure on the fuel rail.

I would get a fuel pressure gauge and watch how quick the fuel pressure drops off after the car is turned off.
