oil leak timing cover

oil leak timing cover
so i have this timing cover problem, it wont stop leaking. any one ever have a problem with the 2 peice timing cover. brand new and leaking oil

Yep. Mine was so bad I had to spear tons of gasket sealant around the bottom of mine before I put it on to fill the gap at the bottom. I'll be replacing mine soon, but had to do something in the meantime. It's due to the poor design. There are no bolts or screws at the bottom to seal it.

Yeah, those ones aren't that great. The only two-piece covers that are any good are the billet ones like the Comp Cams 210, or the Summit equivalent G6312.
