March Performance Electric Water Pump Bracket Problem

First off March has greatly disapointed me in that after purchasing thier serpentine set for an alt and ps kit for an electric water pump and assembling it all, the alt worked fine however when I got to the power steering pump the 2 brackets didnt align correctly and was as if the pump had to be turned on the resivor however i dont believe this can be done, has anybody come up with any solutions to this or mods that can be done to get this setup to work ?

Re: March Performance Electric Water Pump Bracket Problem

March disappointed me as well, I have a Meziere 300 series pump and the alternator spacer does not fit. I called up march and they said that the brackets were designed around the 100 series pumps and they are not sure if it would work... I ended up grinding aways at the appropriate spots to make the brackets work, but now I am having problems fitting a hose on to my waterpump with the bracket being so close...
Kinda disappointing spending close to 500 bucks on something and it doesnt work correctly...

i bought a serpentine swap from March and was totally 100% impressed and satisfied. one possible issue with your setups is that did you get the right kit for your waterpump (short or long style). that would definitely cause those issues that you all are having.

With an electric water pump, the choice was CSI/ CSR or Meziere. I chose meziere. They did not inform me that they are unsure if it will fit a 300 series pump.
