car died.....................
right when it shifted into 3rd it bucked and shut off... ive been having issues with the tv cable and i had it slid all the way back just to get it in 3rd. now the damn thing wont start but is turning over.... any ideas where i should start/look

Pull a plug, then you can kill a few birds with one stone. If the plug is wet you know all is good with the fuel system, if its dry you have a problem. Then you can check for spark at the same time
