Might be a stupid question...
Hello all...this may be stupid but would and engine kit for a 69-80 350 work on an '87 L98 350? I know the cam, lifters, valve cover gaskets, and rear main are different but are those the only differences? Will the bearings, rings, oil pump, timing chain, etc. be correct? I want to say yes but I just want to make sure before I order my kit. Thanks!

The bearings, rings, head gaskets, intake gaskets, timing cover gaskets, front seal and oil pump would be the same. The timing set, cam, lifters, rear main seal, valve cover gaskets, and oil pan gasket will be different.
