Spark plug gap question

Hope this is the right forum for this... Ok got a LO3, with Accel coil, cap, rotor, and wires with a new dizzy...My questions concerns plug gap,(AC DELCO) should I go with the stock gap, or open it up just a little??? My thinking is that since I have a bit more fire a little more gap would help....Any suggestions concerning this?????????? Also am curious about the Accel module (or aftermarket module in general) for the dizzy, is it a good idea?? I have always liked Accel product, so im not interested in changing any of this stuff just curious about the gap, and the module...Thanks for any help on this, Tom

IMO I would use the stock gap on the plugs. since you don't have an ignition box you don't need to open them up anymore than stock gap.

.045 is plenty, if you want to do anything then get longer tip plugs(X suffix in the part number for ac delco anyways)

i always use the X tip plugs because it puts the sparkinto the chamber farther and they take up some volume too

get 8.8 wires

a performance module or a GM 454 one

and make sure your advance curve is good for your engine and modifications

good luck
