Rev limit on ZZ4 w/ LT4 hotcam

Hi guys,

Motor is a ZZ4 crate, 10.5:1 compression, AL 58cc heads, LT4 hot cam, "high rev springs" (dunno exactly which ones), 1.6 roller rockers, forged crank, pink rods, hypereutectic pistons, LT1 intake, exhaust, injectors, etc.

What would you say the rev limit is on this thing? Only info I could find on the board was for stock 305s.

I'm guessing it's in the neighborhood of 6k?

GM list the Max Recomeended RPM at 5,800 rpm in the latest GMPP catalog.

Is that going to be limited by the bottom end or the valvetrain? They list the ZZ4 with 1.5 rockers, a smaller cam, and LT4 springs. I'm not sure about the springs, but I know I've got 1.6 rockers and a bigger cam.

If I'm limited by the valvetrain, I assume the 1.6 rockers and cam would send the redline down, correct? Even with the "high rev springs"?
