Trans Oil Filling

hi guys, just rencently bought a new clutch kit , and had the tranny on the jack, after i finished installing the clutch kit, i tried installing the tranny, it was on an angle and spilled out fluid from the back part, where the drive shaft sits.... i finally installed the tranny but there probably is no fluid, was wondering if anyone knew exactly how to fill a borg warner t5 with fluid... thank you much guys, any help is appreciated....

Car: Yes
Engine: Usually
Transmission: Sometimes
Axle/Gears: Behind me somewhere
Assemble car completely; remove fill plug (about halfway up the case on the pass side); insert fluid.

I removed the shifter on top and poured it in from inside the car (till it poured out the top hole).
