Pushrod Problem

I have Dart Iron Eagle Heads
Comp Guideplates
Scorpion 1.5 rockers
The nut is hitting the ends of the rockers, which would be because the pushrod is too small. Anyone have a set up like this, and what rod are you using. I bought a rod checker today and it seemed as though a rod i had out of my 93 pick up with a 350 fit perfect, but yet it isnt hydraulic roller. Anyone have any advice i cant seem to figure this out.

Car: Yes
Engine: Usually
Transmission: Sometimes
Axle/Gears: Behind me somewhere
Well there's about .400" of difference between the push rods in a factory roller motor and a non-roller one. That's HUGE.

Sounds to me like you should use whatever works. If roller ones don't work and non-roller ones do, use non-roller ones (7.8", more or less; compared to 7.4" for roller ones). Also sounds like you don't have a roller setup in your motor.

I thought the roller ones were 7.2?
