bad move
a buddy of mine removed the rocker arms and push rods without keeping the sets together, in other words, a pile of rocker arms and a pile of push rods..... i know your not "supposed" to mix these up and they are supposed to go back to the same spot. the engine has approx.50,000 miles on it, my question is do we have to get new rockers and push rods or can we just put the existing ones back in wherever?

Re: bad move
The pushrods aren't critical. The rocker ***** should have been kept with their respective rocker arm...But since that didn't happen.....Lube the rocker ***** up really well with engine assembly lube and put them back on the engine. You shouldn't have any problems with then.If you are running the old 50,000 mile, stock valve springs you really won't have any problems with your mismatched rocker arms and *****.
