pete jackson gears???

pete jackson gears???

i got a set off ebay and they only come with one of the little Advance/Retard at Camshaft and i didnt now what that thing was till last night but i put it in and line the dots up other day. so should i take it back out and order some of them littles thing?

Those say 2 degree increments, so if thats what you have its 6 degrees advanced or retarded depending on how you installed it. I would not leave it that way.

no computer!will the comp cam bushings work? what do does the maker of pete jackson gears mean when they say (Minor machining may be required) does 350 need it

Dont know. You'll have to install it and follow the instructions and check clearances. Dont skip that.
The comp bushings will only work if the hole is the same size, I forget what size it is.

The bushings will work with any gear set. You need to drill out the hole in the cam gear to 1/4" to insert a bushing. Buy a cam gear lock plate because it will sit over the bushing to keep it in place.

Gear drive is too noisy. I had a set in my car for one day before ripping it out and reinstalling a chain for the race the next day.
