I remember when I was 16 (sound like a V8).

:P

Buy a nitrous kit, then you might beable to keep up with the big dogs.

Re: what can i do to my motor??

try checking out the v6 section but to keep up with the "big dogs" your gonna either need forced induction or nitrous. just think the less weight you have the less power you need to go fast strip the car down, ad some nice gears and let r rip

Yea, there are no good bolt ons for the V6 that are worth the cost.
Just skip the headaches and go right to the V8. Losing races and spending more $ to keep losing really sucks.

191 CID ring gear?

Short of forced induction, there is only so far you can go.

Don't be offended by the flame job these guys just gave ya

I was serious about the nitrous...don't be afraid of it...everybody gives me the ohhh, you're going to blow it up face...that is BULLSHIT (i'm not running a multi-stage 600 hp shot drag car). Jet it right and limit it, she will not blow up.

I just posted this for another guy recently who was asking about performance stuff:

Upgrading the performance is too general of a description of what you want. If your budget is $500, you aren't going to do much to the car to increase the performance (NOTHING YOU CAN FEEL WITH THE SEAT OF YOUR PANTS).

On you stock car:

- Putting on a "performance" exhaust will just make the car sound louder
- Buying a computer chip will just increase your top speed
- Installing "performance" spark plugs is a false sense of performance gain
- Installing "performance" air filters (ex. K&N) is a false sense of performance gain

With all that junk installed, is a 0.3 second change in your 1/4 mile times. Its okay to do all that stuff, but you are just going to be lying to yourself about having a fast car while nothing really changed.

THERE IS NO REPLACEMENT FOR DISPLACEMENT:

-Improve air flow naturally (ALL AT ONCE - TB, Intake Manifold, Heads, Camshaft, Exhaust, and Tune)

-Improve air flow forced induction (supercharger, turbocharger)

Re: what can i do to my motor??

There are some guys on the V6 forum making serious power with DIY turbo kits.

Talk to Daves12secv6, hes the guy you need to talk to, he even sells the kits!
