i just rebuilt my 87 gta 350 tpi. new pistons bored .030.lingenfelter cam,shaved heads,mild porting,roller rockers,headers,.the problem is when it gets into the higer rpm it pumps oil out the dip stick tube. it doesn't apear to have any blow by.if i drive normal it's ok,if i start to beat it it blows oil out the dpstick tube. any help?

 

did you hook up the pcv valve?

 

yes the pvc is working. i did leave the stock breather on the other side, the one going into the throtle body

 

can you hear the valve rattle when you shake it?

 

yes, some guys are saying to get rid of the stock breather on the pass. side. and go with a open type. the ca causeing low vaccum and high crankcase pressure?

where you got the vaccum line for your crankcase hooked up to? and im not famaliar with tuned ports but it seems on most newer cars they don't use a breather on the valve cover, they'll actually suck air from a tube after the air filter
