carb plate?

carb plate?

where can i find the carb plate or whatever it is called. they use it when they have a cowl. i have tbi with a cowl so i was hoping to use one

you dont need one they call it a TBI spacer and i am pretty sure the tbi will fit under a stock hood with one

i already have the cowl hood. i wanted one to seperate the cool air from the hot engine air

Yea, those aren't really made you have to make it yourself. Not sure if there's a specific word for it, but search on this board on "sealing cowl" or something like that. You just want to seal your air cleaner to your cowl hood.
Some sheet metal and some tall rubber coated spongy foam and you're set.

i was gonna do something like that to seal my filter to the scoop i have.. then i figure, i'll be getting a fiberglass 4incher later so it will be a waste.. unless i sell my hood and filter together.. hahaha like anyone would buy my cheap piece of fecal matter hood.. but like sonix said, you dont just buy something like that.. you have to make it..
