062 valve stem lock grinding...
okay i have taken a look at my 062s and it appears that the valve stem seals arent pressed in all the way... tricky to get a picture of but just wondering how high they should be?
and what problems could i run into by grinding the bottom of the locks to allow for a cam with .510 lift?

I know vortecs have the fat guide boss, but they use the positive valve seals factory don't they? I can't tell if they're far enough down from that picture, even though it is a fantastic high res picture, i'm impressed. I'm sick of camera phone pictures.
I wouldn't grind the valve locks, those are so weeny. (and do you mean locks or retainers?)
Either way, i'd grind the valve boss first.
