Tpi to Carb, will AC work

I have a 1985 iroc Tpi. I put in a 383 and plan to go carb. WIll I still be able to hook up the AC. I am not sure if the computer kicks it on or what?

Re: Tpi to Carb, will AC work

ac isn't controlled by the computer, as long as you still have your compressor on the belt it should still work. if you didn't touch any of the ac system before you started or when you were doing the swap and it worked before then it should still work.

Re: Tpi to Carb, will AC work

Thanks Johnnyboy, I did nothing to the original system, so when I switch to a carb I should still be able to retain the ac. That will be nice since its beginning to get hot in Pittsburgh.
