Get one with the WS6 performance package. Easy to spot with the very thick front sway bar and rear disc brakes. They have positive traction rear ends and fixing the "one-wheel-peel" is very expensive later. The later model cars (89-92) have the most stock horsepower. Don't buy a V6 or 5.0 liter. Look for one with a decent interior, this is the hardest part to rebuild. The (good) third gens are getting fewer and fewer as they pass 20 years old and now would be a good time to get one before the price starts to climb.
