305 LG4
305 LG4
Does Anybody know if a supercharger can fit on an 84 trans am with a 305 LG4 with a holley 675 double pump and an edlebrock performer intake manifold? also if it doesn't is a buildup worth it or should i just put on the supercharger. Thank You!

Re: 305 LG4
Welcome to the boards.
That LG4 came with a show stopping 140 hp.
The first thing I would do is get an full exhaust, headers and catback,
then a decent cam. That on it's own will get you over 200 hp easy.
Personally, I would get rid of it and start with a 350. The first motor I played with was an LG4. It was more or less a one night stand, I found someone else that made me smile.

Re: 305 LG4
if you want upgrades ATM but you will get a different engine later on just go for boltons EG: High flowing exhaust and intake, If you already have a Holley 675DP that saves you buying a new carb (bit big for a LG4 IMO, my L69 is very happy with my Holley 600 Vac Sec).
That way if or when you get a new engine they will bolt right up, no cash waisted.
