TPI... sticky throttle in gear

I need some help.... I year ago I swapped out my orginal intake and runners for a edlebrock intake and accel runners and 24 lbs svo injectors. Since then while driving the throttle sticks @ 1500 rpm, a tap of the pedal will drop the revs to normal. What is the problem????..... I eliminated the tb cuz I tried another one with no change, don't think it is a vacuum leak cuz the motor is freshly rebuilt. Bad tps??

Thanks.

Re: TPI... sticky throttle in gear

does the cable move freely when disconnected from the throttle body? does the thottle body snap shut with the throttle cable disconnected or the cruise control cable disconnected?

Re: TPI... sticky throttle in gear

tb and cables are good, everything moves freely. I guessing the ecm is causing the problem. Not sure how to trouble shoot the problem. All I do know is I didn't have this issue before the parts swap.

If you swapped the TB and used the same IAC, it may be the problem. See this thread for cleaning and lubing it:Cleaning & lubricating the IAC

IAC was inspected before install.

Re: TPI... sticky throttle in gear

I lubed up the throttle plates and it seems fine. I'm not used to the easy fixes
