my bro-N-law took my car out 2day (91 z28 vert) and he said that the speedo stopped working and the trans screws up in third gear, so i took it out the next day and the speedo would work on and off, and 1st and 2nd gear work smootly but then when i shift it to third it will jerk hard then it will start revving up pretty high.

at 30 mph in 2nd it does around 3000 rpms then when i shift to third it does about 30 mp at like 4500-5500 rpms?

any1 ever have this problem?


its kinda the same problem i had on my truck and i had to change the ignition switch (fixed the problem)(but the symptoms where alittle bit different)

or do ya think its jsut the trans just went out?
