I am having problems with my 91 z 305 tpi fuel related I think I can take off in the car and it will die after I hit 30 or 40 MPH but it will start right back up after but if I start off slow it does just fine I replaced the fuel filter today and did the same thing afterwards so now I am thinking pump that was replaced in feb. but my mech. says the fuel pressure is fine...any suggestions will be very helpful

As far as I know a fuel pump can cut out and die and then work fine and then do the same thing over again. Eventually it will go out completely. I think that your problem is a warning sign thought, that your FP is in need of replacement.
