ok so im cruisin around normal driving in town, normal temp 170, good oil pressure plenty of batterey, gas,oil, u name it-anyways the car just died while i was at a stoplight. just shuts off, no sits or sputters -it was like flipping a kill switch. it does this about twice amonth but doesnt throw a code or anything. this car runs great and has 59,000 on it . any suggestions? also sometimes it wont start unless i wiggle my shifter (auto). Think the two problems are related? wow-wiggle my shifter that sounds funny

 

it could be a bad injector in the tb or bad fuel pump or ign module

 

she runs perfect though its a flat out die no stall or anything car runs like a freakin dream! i was thinking nuetral safety switch maybe?

 

My 85 IROC has done the same thing to me twice in the 3 years I have owned it. Just sitting at a light waiting for it to go green running sweet and instant dead. No warning. Instant off. Started right up both times and runs great. Very odd. Until it starts happening frequently I am not worrying about it.
