problem?? help
my car only has 52000 original miles on it and it sat for a while i put a new fuel pump in it and it ran fine and then it started to back fire through the exaust and up front and now it wont start what could this be ??my motor is a stock 305 tpi motor no mods at all could it be my maf or some thing else electrical It also makes a hissing sound up front under the tpi when i turn the key off what is that?? please help

Try unplugging the maf and then start it.The maf could cause it to do that.Mine ran really bad when my burn-off relay went out.
