Ok I swapped a tpi on a 73 chevy blazer and changed it from a mass air flow to a speed density set up..I used a wiring harness from jim preformance and all new gaskets,and sensors all around..
It did run for a few times but now cant get it to even fire..
Here is the low down so far..
Changed chip and comp with my brothers truck and his started right up and ran fine with my chip and comp in it..
the fuel pump dosent come on when the key comes on but can bypass the relay and the pump comes on and seams that there is no signal coming out of the harness wire at the computer but can bypass it right there to get the fuel pump on..
Changed relays took whole harness out and went over every inch of it to check for cuts or what not and none found..
Have 12v at the key on..
Have power at the coil on both sides of coil when you bump the starter..
If you have any ideas on what to check thank you in advanced..Mike

First off, this thread will eventually be locked because it does not pertain to Fbody specific.

Sounds to me that I bet your brothers has MAF not MAP

You need a 7302 ECM for MAP and I bet you are using 7165 ECM. So when you use your ECM on his of course it would work. However, with his ECM on yours it wouldn't do squat.
