manifold air temp sensor

could a bad manifold air temp sensor foul out plugs in a few miles?

That would depend on whether the engine actually has a manifold air temp sensor.

well I bought one and installed it so I hope so. but with me you never know.
88 iroc 305 tbi.
but assuming the car has one and assuming it is bad could it foul out plugs really quickly
