383 no start???
I just got done building my motor and put everything back to where it should be(or so I think). Anyway I go to turn the motor on and it'll turn over but wont start it almost did one time(it shot up to 2300rpms then shut off). My dad thinks it's the timing but we messed with that and it still didn't get it going. I'm wondering if the injector harness plugs need to be in a certain order or something? If so does anyone know? I looked through the book and couldn't find any info on this subject. Oh and I burned up the starter trying to get her running it was like only 4 months old? I don't know if I need a high TQ starter or something now for this new motor? Any useful info would be greatly apprecetaied.

Re: 383 no start???
Oh ok. Oh and my dad got it started today I don't know how but he did. I think it was the timing but now the new fuel line is leaking and my intake manifold has a air leak(aarrrgghhhhh!!!). Do the headaches ever end? And when I took it out for a test drive it started to overheat when I would come to a stop. So I'm wondering what time do the electric fans kick on? (stock ones)
