Help, serpentine dilemma.
Help, serpentine dilemma.
I have fitted an 88 TPI from a Corvette, into a 40 Ford coupe. The A/C compessor and alternator are too wide making it necessary to cut out the inner fenders, this is something I dont want to do. Is there a Chevrolet bracket setup that would fit on my engine to re-locate the accessories higher and narrower. I need to keep the short water pump or will have issues with radiator clearance. I do not want to run power steering or smog pump.
Thanks, Max.

You'll have to go aftermarket and make things work. Aftermarket accessory brackets are brought up on here once in a blue moon. I brought it up not that long ago. Unfortunately there is no Chevy setup that'll help and no aftermarket support for our cars. You're just gonna have to try to figure something out.
You may want to try Billet Specialties. IIRC they make brackets that adjust in and out as well as side to side. A bit pricey though. Might have been March too.
