Upper door hinge video? Should I get started on one?

Hi. I was wondering if anyone on this board has thought of putting a "how-to" video on replacing upper door hinge bushings on the 82-92 Camaros. I think it would make it easier. What do you guys think about this?

I'd sure like to see it. My car is about due for this job, past due actually.

I'd like to see how it's done as long as it doesn't start with:
"Begin by attaching the $900 door dolly to the door"
That's the only problem I have with "Horsepower TV":
"After we've put the car on the overhead lift, we're going to attach this nice Binford Tools rear axle hoist to remove the rear axle". "They're available for only $1800 at your local shop hoist distributor and make a tough job easy"

Yeah.
I'm right there with ya'.

I agree. I dont have any door lifter, or hoist or anything.

This is Lon's department and he does have a step by step tutorial already. Video, I doubt it unless you wanna pay for production and distribution costs

A regular jack with a 2x4 under will hold the door fine and wont damage it.

You DO need a air or electric die grinder to grind the top of the factory pins off to tap them out.

There are instructions you know. It was very easy to do.

Bullydawg, you can go on the Harbor Freight website:www.harborfreight.com and type in door remover/installer in the "find by keyword" search box. It should come up and the part number 40386-0VGA. It runs for 79.99.

But I dont have the $79.00 dollars. Not everyone has the money to buy these tools. I am going to have a couple of friends help me hold the door and pull it off so I can lay it on some blankets.

I think he was talking about posting the video online for download. Something like: The first 3 sections are free the last 2 will be emailed for $8.99 paypal.
Production cost, lets see, in Alabama will run about 1-2 cases of beer.
Sagging driver's doors are a problem with almost all 20+ year old 3rd gens.
Kinda like Firebird headlight doors that don't raise or lower...(there's an idea)
