LB9 roller-cam material

Question about roller-cam in LB9 motor:

What material is the factory roller-cam in an '88 LB9 made of?

Is it cast or steel?

If steel, what type of steel?

What material is the drivegear on this cam made of?

Anybody else know different? It's the camshaft gear material I need to be sure of.
