Re: best springs for heads

I am going with Comp Cams Beehive springs to on my Trick Flow G-2 heads along with their retainers and locks. I am using Trick Flow's hydraulic roller camshafts with Comp Cams retro hydraulic roller lifters. With the articles I have read on the Beehive springs that some of the professional engine builders did, they do work without causing some the problems that come with conventional dual spring setups for higher lift cams and actually picked up nearly 40 hp over conventional spring setups.
