piston and rod measurements

i've been looking all over for specs on a typical 350's piston and rod. the diagram below is for a dodge v6 and i need the comparable chevy measurements for the rod length, piston diameter, whatever...not everything in this drawing, but most of the stuff in it. does anybody have a rebuild manual or know what the measurement are? i'm sure some of the stuff varies but just the most common will work.

Re: piston and rod measurements

what in the world are you talking about... what does a dodge v6 have anything to do with a SBC

but the typical SBC rod is 5.7 inches measured from the center of the big end to the center of the small end...

but pistons are a different story they can come in many sizes..

from 4"-4.060"+ then there is compresion distance normaly about 1.561" or so but that is dependent on the rods they will be used on....

WHAT are you really asking

Re: piston and rod measurements

i'm asking for the comparable chevy measurements for the measurements shown in the drawing. i'm getting a tattoo similar to the drawing and i want the measurements to be accurate (for a typical 350) since they will probably be legible. i know the dodge v6 doesn't have anything to do with a chevy....but that's the only drawing i can find that represents what i want it to look like lol

Re: piston and rod measurements

Gasket thickness - .015 average (stock gasket)
.039 aftermarket

Compression height - 1.56"

Block height, 9.025" (stock) or 9.00" decked

Rod length - 5.7"

Stroke - 3.48" (or 3.75" for a stroker motor)

Cylinder bore 4.00" (or say 4.030 for a rebuilt one)

The measurement in the top right that isn't labeled is probably the deck height, so that'll be ~.025"

I don't know the bearing sizes/ journal sizes off the top of my head.
