last year I was having some problems with my camaro where the car would start and then stall and we changed alot of stuff map sensor distributor injectors etc..then i just bought a 50 dollar used ecm from ebay and the car worked fine just had a low idle at the light occasionally it would cut off and start right back up...and work normally so after taking my car about 40 miles or so to the beach and returned home...f the valve cover started leaking oil and that was smoking from falling on the manifold so i need to change the gasket but when I came home I told my son add some oil to it and he added the oil thru the oil dipstick instead of the valves and now my car is stalling alot and cutting off is it because of where he added the oil?how could i fix this or could it be something else maybe from the long trip or oil leak please HELP!

 

it isnt because he added oil through the dip stick... must have taken a friggen long time though... did you sit and watch or find out after the fact...

 

no he told me afterwards so its not the oil what else should I try fuel filter?,Maf sensor?,distributor?
