AFR new heads

Ok...I have to reconsider everything I thought about AFR heads in the past.

I just got my hands on a brand new pair, and they are awesome (must be a new casting design).

The price is right too. The performance and airflow numbers will come later, the jury is still out on those.

These are the 195 Eliminator models:

Re: AFR new heads

You were previously not a fan of AFR heads? Wow, musta been lonely eh?
I'm just tagging on to find out the flow numbers you come up with. Are you going to leave them as is, or tweak them? (and reflow them)

Re: AFR new heads

We have always though AFR's are good heads, but for the money you have to spend to make them streetable, ($2000), you can get a set of Trick Flows for $1300 that are streetable right out of the box. The AFR's have always been marketed towards racers, not streeters.
These Eliminators look to be changing that.
