Building up a 305 TBI

alright i got a 91 firebird with a 305 V8 and jus like everyone else i want more power outa it im not sure if this is where im supposed to post this lol but i wanna add some stuff to give me some more power im running stock right now

There's a whole forum on this site devoted exclusively to the TBI motor.

On a thumbnail, that motor needs exhaust, every single piece; a cam; and better heads. Plus, they usually come with a terrible gear, so the car needs that in addition to, and sometimes INSTEAD OF, working on the motor.

Since TBI is a speed-density FI system, it is highly sensitive to certain types of mods, particularly big cams. It doesn't take much to make the stock programming badly mismatched to the motor's needs.
