Got into an accident...

I recently got into an accident and here is what happened.

I have an automatic v6 camaro

When i shift it says its in reverse when really its in park and it says its in overdrive when its in neutral and so on...

how do i fix this?

check the linkage on the trans oil pan, if its loose it can cause this. if that is not the case, there is a way to adjust the cable but i dont know how off the top of my head

Adjustment is just loosening the nut at the shift lever on the case.
Make sure your cable is seated firmly in the bracket that 86 is talking about.

the honey comb stuff? its impact absorber, if you drive on the street its a good idea to have it, junkyard+cheap, Classic Industries

this might make me sound like the most un-observant newbie out there, but how do you remove the front bumper? what kind of bits do i have to use for removal? It appeared to be a square bit, but im not sure. your help is appreciated!! thanks
