timing
I just recently tuned my car at school on a dyno for fuel, now im going to tune it for timing. I dont have a vacuum advance, but there is some connector to unplug right? Never done this before on my car so i dont even know where this connector is at, and if there is anything else i have to do to set it.

Re: timing
There is a connector to disable the ESC located on the passenger side of the engine compartment near the firewall. It is a single wire connector that is tan with a black stripe. I think your car is old enough, you can disable the computer advance by simply jumping the ALDL terminal at the a and b, in diagnostic mode AFTER you start the engine. Check your label underhood, auto trannys of this vintage require you to set base timing in drive.
