New Engine Problem
As the title reads, I got a rebuilt engine put in and I got a problem. It's a TPI 350, just like what was in it. It idles great no problem there, but when you give it a little bit of gas to take off, it lowers the rpms about a 100 rpm and then your reaction is to give it more gas and then it is fine. Cruises fine and everything, after that. I don't think it would die but acts like it wants to. In takers to solve my problem. THANKS

Re: New Engine Problem
As far as I know it's a stock cam and a stock converter.
----------
What would exactly make it run rich, and I will have my local mechanic check the timing this week.

Thanks,
Yea I'am dropping it off at the mechanic and he said exactly what you said. That it might be the O2 sensor or the fuel system. Thanks again and I'll give you guys the results after tomorrow.

Re: New Engine Problem
Well, it turned out to be the TPS sensor. I told him to go ahead and put it in, because I know those things are real touchy. But, yea the problem is totally fixed and will lay rubber like nobody's business. I'am very glad to see the full potential of my new engine and can't wait to drive it some more. Thanks guys, especially 91 camaro racer, I appreciate it. THANKS
