Re: sea foam on a tpi

i always go through the pcv hose. it's most likely going to want to stall but if you can get it in there it works great.

Re: sea foam on a tpi

what i do is pour it in the hose till it stalls out. after it stalls wait about 2 minutes then start it up and let it smoke out the street. it won't take much at all to stall the car so if you want to keep doing it untill the can is gone i guess you can. make sure it's done smoking before you try again it won't hurt it. it will smoke like hell so make sure you're not indoors or near open windows.

I've never seafoamed this car. Is it the PVC hose connected to the passenger side Valve cover and lead into a port right behind the throttle body.

Just pull the hose off the brake booster. Super easy. I poor it into a cup and let the vacuum suck it out.

Re: sea foam on a tpi

i know this might be another post but i need some advice. My mechanic and I are doing a head gasket swap after mine blew up and now my whole engine has oil with antifreeze on it. I am going to be switching the oil on it before i start it up. My question is Sea Foam is know to clean all your internals and that would be great to take away all the extra antifreeze after i change the oil because i want it to be like new. If there is another specific cleaner for that please let me know thanks

Seafoam or MMO should be fine. Run some Rotella oil with seafoam through, bring it to operating temp, drain, change the filter, and fill with whatever you usually use. Basically you're doing a motor flush. BG has a product by that name, too- pretty nasty stuff from what I've heard.

You're bearings were ok?

Re: sea foam on a tpi

Okay thanks sounds like what ima be doing because my car is my baby and needs to be good. And about the bearing I hope so but mechanic said they are good. I was headed home and i gunned it from 0-45mph and then turned turned off my car and when i went to start it thats when you heard it happen. So i drove it to my mechanic and after that i has not moved at all it was towed and all that but when it did turn on there was no noise and good idle
