need help with timing on 87 gta

I'm tiring to set the base timing on my 87 gta everybody keeps talking about a wire next to the blower i can't find one Ive also herd that this year you could do the same thing using the adl connector does any body know which terminals to jump. also i read some where that when you set the base idle you are suppose to disconnect the wire form the dis. also any help would be great thanks

dont disconnect anything at the distributor. its a tan with a black tracer wire with a weather pack connector inline. its located in the black plastic tubing holding a wire bundle right above the ac/heater box. it should be right in the area where i circled.

oh no jstuart83, i cant take the credit bc thats not my engine bay. Its Quisterio's engine bay, i am not able to upload pictures yet so i was trying to think of pictures that would show the area that i could highlight and i remembered that Quisterio posted his engine bay on a thread by me called air intake.https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/tpi/...ir-intake.html
